- A space is approximately 3×3 meters. Rental of one table (183×75 cm) is included. If more tables are desired, they can be ordered additionally. Clothes racks and mirrors must be provided by the exhibitor.
- In case of rain, exhibitors must cover their items themselves. It is possible to set up a tent (maximum 3×3 meters). This must be provided by the exhibitor.
- When you follow the link for registration, you will find a map with an overview of all spaces at the market. Available spaces are marked in green.
- It is not allowed to use open flames, grills, propane, or deep fryers, including air fryers.
- Stand spaces for food service should only be used for food service. Normal regulations from the Food Safety Authority apply. We can only offer limited power capacity.
- Serving food, coffee, cakes, or other treats is not allowed from stand spaces for second-hand and handicrafts.
- Stand spaces for food service that are not booked one day before the market opens will be released for regular stands.
Product Selection
This is a second-hand and design market, and exhibitors determine their selection and prices. It is not permitted to sell items that are illegal to trade according to Norwegian law, such as weapons, alcohol, tobacco, endangered species, and stolen goods. Sale of candy, cotton candy, etc., and new mass-produced sales items are not allowed. Those who run a second-hand business must bring a valid second-hand dealer permit.
Setup/Parking
- Entry and setup of items are possible from 10.00 AM on the day of sale.
- All exhibitors must be in place when the market opens at 11.00 AM. If an exhibitor does not arrive by 10.00 AM, you forfeit the right to use the space.
- Parking or driving in the area is not allowed during the second-hand market’s opening hours.
- Parking spaces are nearby and are free on Sundays.
- Takedown from 4.00 PM.
- The space must be cleared by 5.00 PM.
- Unsold items/trash must be removed by the exhibitor.
Food Service
There are 4 stand spaces suitable for food service.
Only the sale of fruits and vegetables, cakes, sausages, ice cream, soda, fried waffles, and pre-prepared hamburgers and similar (heat-treated such as ready-to-eat sausages or fried hamburgers from the grocery store) are allowed. Deep fryers are not permitted. Normal regulations from the Food Safety Authority apply.
Proper cleaning is important, see guidelines from the Food Safety Authority here.
Tent Safety
- Most bring their own tent, which means there are some safety challenges associated with this.
- Tents must be secured against fire and wind.
- The person setting up the tent is responsible for its safety.
- Weights must be placed on the tent. Water cans are recommended.
- The tent must be taken down in strong winds, which we assess to be over 10 m/s.
- Tents must have flame-retardant fabric and be properly anchored so they do not blow away.
Trash
The market does not have the capacity to handle trash. All must therefore clean up thoroughly after themselves and take unsold items and other equipment with them at the end of the sale day. This is important for us to be able to continue the Bryggerekka Second-Hand Market in the future. If we unexpectedly have to clean up extra after you, this will be billed to the exhibitor. There is no possibility for disposing of trash in the area.
Other
- Unfortunately, there are no toilets available at Bryggerekka Second-Hand Market.

- Intoxicated individuals will be removed.
- Public laws and regulations apply.
- Exhibitors are responsible for complying with regulations for buying and selling and ensuring necessary notifications to and permissions from public authorities where required.
- Those who run a second-hand business must bring a valid second-hand dealer permit. All others confirm when they accept the terms at the time of booking that they are only selling personally owned items.
